Where to buy nzxt switch 810
But overall Nice case! Pros: front usb 3. Cons: Very Large, 24 inches tall, 22 inches deep and almost 9 inches wide. If your not using extra large every-things AND water-cooling I would suggest one of their smaller cases. I thought my antec was large when I got it years ago, but this thing dwarfs it.
Overall Review: I am a loyal product consumer and have always used Antec. However they did not offer anything to fit this build so after extensive research I decided to try NZXT. I bought this case to be sure my new water cooling setup would fit inside. And it does. I put a thick radiator inside the top with push fans. I was also able to put 3- fans in the top above the radiator.
I wanted it to draw heat from Rad. I know this prob wasn't optimal for cooling but with a only cooling the cpu and the motherboard I felt it was sufficient. However wiring the 's with the radiator below, I was forced to drill 2 holes up top to run the fan wiring. This was the only hitch in the entire build. Everything else was a breeze. This is the cleanest, neatest, easiest build I have had the joy to create. Of course being this huge, the gt fit with room to spare.
I removed the louvers from the top. It made a noticeable difference in airflow even from the open position. NZXT added all the bells and whistles, and totally justified the cost for me. They have a earned a spot on my loyalty list for future builds. Pros: Plenty of tie down spots for routing cables, grommets for cable management, only 4 fans but sooo many spots to put other fans. My guess is they have replaced the top mount in most if not all of the Switch 's so it shouldn't be a problem.
Easy to clean out dust. Cons: The top cover that comes off is a little disconcerting, I do like the feel of metal on the outside of the case. Overall Review: For the top removable cover there should be a mesh so that nothing falls down into the case I have the 2 fans for the Kraken X60 just below and can easily touch them so something could fall through and damage the fans.
Also for the top cover, instead of the push-and-click method for securing it maybe something like what they have for holding race car hoods down? The hot swap bays should have something more like what you see on servers. Otherwise love it! Pros: Comes with 4 mm fans, lights in the back of the case to see where you're plugging in your ports, great cable management, and lots of water cooling method you can use.
The big side window is really nice to look in. Has 2 USB 2. Has lots of filter and on top and switch to allow you to open or close the top. Lots and lots of room on the inside. Cons: When I was putting the door back on the case the thumb screw that would move up and down broke. But that was just me being careless.
Pros: Large and roomy with lots of grommet openings, good wire management and surprisingly quiet design. Cons: USB 3. Case scuffs easily in matte finished areas. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg. This item is currently out of stock and it may or may not be restocked. Out of Stock. Add To Wish List. Are you an E-Blast Insider? Get Educated. Close double click image to zoom in. Josef M. Cons: I wish they have screw for front and top panel because it's too easy to accidentally pop it off.
This may look more sexier if it's painted in rubbery matte because glossy is so last year. Overall Review: The amount of details put into this case is incredible, but it's not perfect. I've own many PC cases in the past and also made some case myself so I'm very picky choosing the right one and this one seem a little bit more friendly for liquid cooling than most cases.
I'm a road warrior and travel alot. We'll see how long can this case withstand the bumpy road. Pros: - It looks incredible.
The overall style of the case is great, looks nice, and is very sturdy. I can tell you from my experience see other thoughts this came in handy quite a bit. Cons: - If you go with a top mm radiator, you will lose the top drive bay, often for a dvd drive. I wasn't concerned, I had an external drive to use. Albeit, that one is on the thicker side of things, there just wasn't space and the holes were not aligned. See Other thoughts for my solution. So I decided to get this, since it really looked nice.
So I purchased everything and waited for the build day. Honestly, any errors were on me, I didn't do enough research on the case and LC parts to actually know what I was doing.
I ended up dismantling the entire exterior and unscrewing the top of the case. The plan was to have a push-pull setup, with 3 fans on the outside of the case Under the detachable top fin slot thing. The default screws with the radiator were too short, so I made a trip to Home Depot. I managed to attach the the fans on the top, then the radiator and fans below the radiator. But it would not fit. So, I was forced to take out the top drive bay in order to fit the radiator in.
Then, I had taken out the bottom drive slot to put my mm radiator in. However, the rad would not actually fit in the case without some extreme modding of the case. I decided I would go to a rad when I had a stroke of genius. The two fans attached to the drive slots. With some more screws from Home Depot and a bit of work, I managed to attach the rad to the two drive slots, while still having the fans attached as well.
I wanted to go with a push-pull setup, as there was just barely enough space between the radiator and my GTX Titan cards. I opted not to add in the extra cards. After I managed to get everything in, and the loop perfect, the case looked fantastic! Pros: I bought this case while it was on sale for around USD and it has worked out very nicely.
I would have preferred to have gotten the white version, but the black one still looks very slick, the rubberized trim on the exterior still has a glossy-matte contrast that is pleasant. Temps are icy cold, using a hyper for CPU cooling running at 25C idle. And if you ever want to do water cooling, there's always that option albiet unnecessary. So many different configurations you can utilize with the grommeted water cooling hose openings and room for 2 radiators. BUT the particular cooling option that I think is the 'coolest,' pun intended, is the tiltable fans on the drive cages that allow you to point air flow directly at your graphics card.
Also worth mentioning, you can put an outrageous amount of mm fans in there see below comment in the 'cons' -Easy cleaning -LED illumination for backplate -Front panel mounted USB drives with well constructed flip cover. Easily the most important factor in cases for the egotistical builder. Cons: I realize these are a bit nit picky, but it's stuff I wish someone had told me before I bought it so I wouldn't have to be even slightly disappointed.
People have said it before and it bears saying again. It does look cool, but it's totally impractical, the machine already runs quiet anyways and closing it does nothing maybe with a noisy radiator there, it would make a difference. You would expect it to gently slide back and forth, but instead you have to put all your weight against the tower and brace yourself against a wall to get it open. Sure you could just use the four, but who wants to do that?
But when you go to look in to buying more matching NZXT mm fans, you will be disappointed to find they are very expensive. You could, of course use different fans, but either way, the shear number of fans that you'll most likely eventually buy is something to consider if you're thinking about this case. If you want to maximize the cooling potential, you will need to use mm in conjunction. This would have been nice to know before wasting money on extra mm, and the diagrams in the manual don't show it well.
Heres are the issues to save you some trouble; 1 with the bottom drive cage installed, you can't fit a fan in the position right beneath where that cage would be - not like it would really do anything anyways. Yes, it's nit-picky. But doesn't everyone yearn for that satisfying feeling when pressing down a really nice button; keyboard, power, reset or otherwise? Let ye who don't cast the first stone. And that being said, all the other buttons DO feel great; sturdy, and satisfying.
Which just makes it all that much more of a shame. It looks great and it's a good price for a full tower although it was a much better price at the time that I bought it, if you're going to get it now, I would splurge for the white one haha. And make sure you trick it out with tons of LEDs. It's not gaudy With enough room for SLI or Crossfire, ability to be reconfigured to house an impossibly long graphics card that doesn't even exist yet, and the possibility for water cooling, this case is future ready.
I plan on having it for a looooooong time. Pros: This is a great case with plenty of room. Mobo fits in nicely with plenty of room for my two EVGA s. There are a ton of places to mount fans or radiators and lots of options for cable management. The large acrylic window was what really sold me on this - I love having such a large viewing area to show off components, light mods, etc. I also like the inclusion of the USB3. These are really nice touches that more cases should have.
It's also priced reasonably for a full tower, so that's pretty nice. Cons: There are only a few things that I would change about this case.
The plastic that connects the hard drive cages is kind of cheap and one of the brackets was broken when I got mine. Also, the top panel doesn't latch super well. Maybe it's just mine, but it feels a little cheap. I don't plan on messing with the top panel much, so it doesn't matter, but still think it could be better. Overall Review: I don't really mind too much, but the glossy finish shows smudges really easily.
If you're the type of person how has to have their case spotless just know that this will be a battle with this case. I think a matte black would have been better, but that's just me. Built amazingly well for liquid cooling. Pros: At first I was quite skeptical about buying a glossy plastic case. But they actually did a good job of making it look clean! The case is extremely big with plenty of space for huge upgrades inside. The space on top for a radiator is a major plus, and there are 3 filters to keep stuff from getting sucked in.
